Israeli elections are coming, and there is a lot to digest. Looking to deepen your understanding of Judaism on your own terms? Join J-Talk, a PAID 10-week seminar exploring big topics and Jewish perspectives. Led by Rabbis Shalom Kantor & Michele Faudem, dinner is included for in-person participants and virtual participation is available.

Join Professor Edith Covensky every Wednesday for Café Ivrit, a comfortable space to practice conversational Hebrew at the HMD Lounge. We’ll focus on easy, student-led conversations and skill building to help build confidence and fluency.

Host Shabbat your way with HMD! Invite your friends for Friday night dinner at your house, apartment, or dorm, and we’ll help make it happen. HMD will reimburse up to $20 per person for your meal and provide the Shabbat essentials, including challah, grape juice, and candles. You pick the people, the menu, and the setting. We’ll help cover the rest.

Every Monday in the HMD Lounge is Cookie Monday! Join us for some fresh baked cookies and a cup of coffee from our espresso and latte maker. No need to wait in the Starbucks line! Start your morning with us or stop by in between classes. We’ll have music, treats, and your caffeine fix.
